Tough break this week. My wife didn’t get the job that she’s been “interviewing” for for the past year. What’s worse is that they are giving her only a couple of days to wrap up her contract.e’s was yet another particular tough week. People are trying to take people from my team, which is leading to a lot of chaos.<\/p>\n

  • Big Companies:<\/strong> Big companies can be worthless when it comes to doing what’s right by their own people…<\/li>\n
  • Friends:<\/strong> On Thursday night we went out to see my best friend’s band. We had a nice surprise at the end of the night, when friends that we have not seen in a long while, and who have been going through a difficulty maternity showed up to join us. It ended up being a very late night – something that we had not done in a long while, but it was so fun to get together.<\/li>\n
  • Uber:<\/strong> Uber came to the rescue. We’ve been using them quite a bit recently, and they’ve been quite outstanding, and at a very reasonable price! Yes, they’ve been in the news for some of their pricing “strategies” (and their CEO in particular has been vocal about it), but we’ve enjoyed the service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • 2:<\/strong> as in AM… The time that we got home on Friday morning. \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
