Week 17…. A short week because Monday was memorial day. It flew by really because we’re focusing on personal stuff at home (all good, just small projects for us to get our attention off of the crappy work situation.<\/p>\n

  • \n
    Mentors<\/strong>: I met my mentor this week. He’s the only person that I’ve ever truly seen as a mentor. He guided me in tough times, and still guides me to this day. He gave me some good advice on the situation that I’m in, and some hope for what may be. It rekindled my hopes.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Baths \/ Soaks:<\/strong>\u00a0We went to a spa on Thursday night. What a nice treat. It was so nice to go in and take a hot bath and soak for 45 minutes. It really helped me relax and slow down. I got a bit reflective, and that was nice.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  • \n
    Purpose:<\/strong> My wife and I have had a couple of projects that we put on our list (given our difficult situation), but it’s been great because it’s given us purpose and focus. I feel much more connected today than in the past few months, and I attribute it to our work together.<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    Number of the Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n

    • 150:<\/strong> Number of miles we rode last week-end (and through Monday). We were supposed to do more (closer to 300), but had some set backs (pain, bikes, hills).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
