{"id":227,"date":"2014-11-08T15:55:05","date_gmt":"2014-11-08T20:55:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/noob40.com\/?p=227"},"modified":"2014-11-11T11:06:06","modified_gmt":"2014-11-11T16:06:06","slug":"week-40-2014%e2%88%9211%e2%88%9208","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noob40.com\/?p=227","title":{"rendered":"Week 40: 2014\u221211\u221208"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Great week overall. \u00a0I made some good progress on some key projects and my office is coming together very nicely.<\/p>\n<div><em><strong>Words of the week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pace:<\/strong>\u00a0Tied to last week&#8217;s intentionality is pace. \u00a0I&#8217;m waking at regular hours, and getting a good 8 hours of sleep a night. \u00a0This is giving me a lot of energy to tackle every day and project.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Rust:<\/strong>\u00a0I definitely feel that my skills have eroded&#8230; it&#8217;s taking me much longer to get back into the work than before, but that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m on my own right now.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saying No:<\/strong>\u00a0I am getting a number of people who want me to join them full time. It&#8217;s very flattering, but I can&#8217;t do it right now. \u00a0I need to explore being on my own, and get my life back in order (i.e. get to know me again).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><em><strong>Number of the Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>15:<\/strong>\u00a0This seems to be the magical number for number of &#8220;things&#8221; I can take care of in a week. \u00a0I&#8217;m enjoying finding the right balance of productivity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great week overall. \u00a0I made some good progress on some key projects and my office is coming together very nicely.
