This week was strange. I had a hard time getting the week started. Part of it is due to the uncertainty of the next project, and delays in hearing from folks. As a result I’m not quite sure what I should be working on… This is silly, because I have so much to do. Things got better towards the end of the week.<\/p>\n

  • Coup de pompe:<\/strong>\u00a0On Tuesday, in particular, I was wiped. I had a hard time mustering energy to move on things. I need to find wins.<\/li>\n
  • Service:<\/strong>\u00a0I’ve had a couple of cases this week, in local stores where folks couldn’t be bothered with serving. This made me think again about how important treating your customers right is. This was accentuated when I saw Wild on Friday night. Other than being a very good flick, there was one part where they described the service that REI provides its customers by sending replacement boots to the next destination at no charge. Now that’s service!<\/li>\n
  • Investments:<\/strong>\u00a0I need to explore investments some more. Maybe there’s a way to spend some energy there. I’m not going to turn into a day trader, but nonetheless, it looks like there may be opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
