Pretty grumble week… Made some good progress on set up, but still am not at a place where I would like to be with balance of projects. \u00a0I did have a good get together with some old colleagues and while it was great to see everyone, it was also a bit bitter sweet as I felt nostalgic (“Bring back the band!”).<\/p>\n

  • Culture:<\/strong>\u00a0I know what I’ve said about people management in the past. But culture is such an important part of what makes a good company great. I’ve said it before and will say it again: You don’t need to have all the best people in the world, you need to have people that work well with each other.<\/li>\n
  • Time:<\/strong>\u00a0I’ve written about this, but time management is so key! I’m finding that I’m having a hard time managing everything.<\/li>\n
  • Calendar:<\/strong>\u00a0I know, that’s probably cheating a bit, but my allow me for a second. My calendar blew up this week. It was my fault. I was moving items from one calendar to another, to ultimately purge calendars, but accidentally delete the calendars before they had time to do a complete sync back to the cloud, and so only the “delete calendar” operation synced back.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • 7:<\/strong>\u00a0I think 7am is the time I should wake up. I find that I fight to wake up at 6, and end up feeling super guilty immediately after that. Let me try waking up at 7am.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
