All set off by the car alarm going off at 6:00 on Sunday morning&#8230; Yeah, we were THOSE neighbors&#8230; \u00a0Overall a good week, with some good momentum, but I noticed that I&#8217;m easily disrupted from my routine, or rather yet, when I&#8217;m disrupted, it takes time to get back into the groove. I have to find how to fix this, and develop mechanisms to help me get back into it faster.<\/p>\n<div><em><strong>Words of the week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>IBS, ECM:<\/strong>\u00a0What strange technical jargon for cars&#8230; IBS = Integrated Battery Sensor not Irritable Bowel Syndrom; ECM = Electronics Control Module, not Electronic Counter Measures&#8230; \u00a0It looks like the battery was drained, but caused by corrosion in the ECM.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Next Generation:<\/strong>\u00a0A word that I both hate and love. \u00a0Overused as a business clich\u00e9 (so is &#8220;Next Level&#8221;), and often provided without any details as to meaning. However it also refers to the hope of the next generation. I spent some time with a close friend and their newborn this week, and saw all the hopes that they have (yeah, I know&#8230; another clich\u00e9).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hire vs. Hire:<\/strong>\u00a0I&#8217;m finding a lot of possible leads but mostly people that want to hire full time as opposed to hire a consulting firm. \u00a0I have to find a solution to make it work for a short period of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><em><strong>Number of the Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>6:15:<\/strong>\u00a0The start of Sunday, the start of the mess of this week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A bizarre week.
