Last Saturday we painted 2 of our decks (they look really nice now), and got the house in order for my family. They arrived Sunday night, and I took Monday through Wednesday off to show them around.<\/p>\n<div><em><strong>Words of the week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pace &#038; Heat:<\/strong>\u00a0Similar to when my mother and nephew were here earlier this year, their pace is very different. Adding the effect of heat to the mix didn&#8217;t really help. The heat brought out the pollen in the air, which made my father not feel well at all.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dog Sitting:<\/strong>\u00a0We&#8217;re dog sitting for our neighbors this week-end. Their dog is absolutely mellow and adorable, which is fantastic. We&#8217;re also going to a dog event to find ourselves a pooch.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Growing Up:<\/strong>\u00a0As my oldest nephew turns 18 (in the next few months), I had to look back a bit and see where life has taken us. I really feel good about the choices that I&#8217;ve made recently, and if anything wish I had made them earlier. I had a rough 10-15 years there. I did some great things, but never really was myself, and made mistakes that I regret. I am less than one year into this new direction, and already feel a lot better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><em><strong>Number of the Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>5:<\/strong>\u00a0Our store selection is now moving to 5.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Birthday Switzerland!
