The week started with a lead gone wrong, but only to confirm what I was suspecting. Followed by a meeting with a client that didn&#8217;t go too well, but again, confirming what I thought, and triggering me to focus on my current idea.<\/p>\n<div><em><strong>Words of the week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A Big Meal:<\/strong>\u00a0We had my mother-in-law over for Christmas, and I took it upon myself to make a big meal for Christmas. I really enjoyed the experience of preparing the meal for everyone, and the feedback was that it was fantastic.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Universe:<\/strong>\u00a0I am always amazed by how the universe sends you signals when you put yourself out there. I had been courting this one lead for the better part of the year, and kept on having nagging feelings about it. You probably wonder why I would follow something that worried me, but I did to pursue the potential. I finally got confirmation that this was going nowhere. While I&#8217;m kicking myself for letting it go that long, I am thankful that I got this signal now, only to help me focus my attention further.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Distractions:<\/strong>\u00a0I had a horrendous client meeting that was just filled with distractions. This was a real pain in the neck, but confirmed what I already suspected with this client, namely that they have a hard time focusing on the task at hand.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><em><strong>Number of the Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>24:<\/strong>\u00a0Both as in the number of hours in the day, but also the day before Christmas.
