I am working from Switzerland this week. I grew up here, and I’m exploring working from here in the future. I came to catch up with old friends, but also meet some new people to add to my network. It’s been a great experience so far.<\/p>\n

Words of the week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n

  • Pace:<\/strong>\u00a0There’s a careful\/more thoughtful pace in this country, and I like it. Instead of rushing to the latest shiny object, there appears to be a lot more thoughtful reflection in decisions made (maybe too much so by US standards). Whether we’re talking about the public transit system that is organized to run like clockwork with immediate connections, or talking about the innovation economy.<\/li>\n
  • Bandwidth:<\/strong>\u00a0I am realizing how important bandwidth is for me. Not just the data kind, but also ensuring that I have time to reflect and work on my own things.<\/li>\n
  • Abundance:<\/strong>\u00a0As in mindset. I wrote before about the “yes mindset”, but coming here with a “yes we can” mindset is opening up a number of doors, and at least starting some conversations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
