Lots of fast moving pieces, and the lack of a full team makes it much harder to get the pace that I want.<\/p>\n<div><em><strong>Words of the week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Business Analyst:<\/strong>\u00a0I have a couple of data scientists that are too much of a perfectionist when it comes to getting results done. We need to move so much faster.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Direct Report:<\/strong>\u00a0I have a new direct report (from last week), and have to manage her. But she can&#8217;t slow me down.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Running:<\/strong>\u00a0Missed a few runs this week. A bit of a buzzkill, because last week end&#8217;s runs were not very good.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><em><strong>Number of the Week:<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>0:<\/strong>\u00a0As simply put, my role is to add a 0 to the valuation of the company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A pretty rough and tumble week this past week.
