What a dud this past week was… It started out with family being in town, but then I had to jet to NYC for a conference that we organize to help out with some of the startup demos, and to meet some of the clients. Neither happened. Content of the conference was good, but just showy. The family part was nice.
Words of the week:
- High School: We spent so much time waiting at a bar to be invited to a party… This is so like high school (or college). Leads who could have made introductions did not, as if they were too insecure in their own relationship with clients to introduce others.
- Boston: It was nice to show Boston to family. It reminded me about how awesome this city is!
- Spring: We had an interesting couple of very cold days… It always reminds me that Spring is this hit or miss thing.
Number of the week:
- 52: We went to the top floor of the Prudential center to see the city, what an amazing experience. You get a complete view of the city.
After this conference, I’m really not thrilled to go back to work next week.
