This week I was in London for work. Part of my role is to help evangelize our products internally for broader adoption across the US. It was good to get out of the US for a couple of the days and get a change of scenery.
Words of the week:
-
Old World / New World: I found the London office to be much more dynamic and alive than our Boston office… Interesting, makes you wonder who’s the old world and who’s the new world, doesn’t it?
-
Jet Lag: I had a hard time with jet lag this time around. I wonder if it was caused by the cold that I developed day 2. Anyhow, we’ll see next time.
-
The Plague: The plague of people management continues to affect me… On Friday afternoon I had a meeting on a difficult case, I was hoping it would get cleared up during that call… I failed…
Number of the Week:
- 1: Extra seat. I was fortunate to have an empty seat next to me on the way there and the way back, which gave me room to stretch out and rest!
