This was a pretty good week overall. Still lots to do, but I feel like I am making progress and chipping away at the “list”.
Words of the week:
- Cadence: I’ve said it before, and will say it again. Cadence is an important thing. It’s not about speed, but about rhythm. When I am in the right cadence, things just move…
- Concrete: Well our new basement slab just got poured this week, soon, we’ll be able to move things back in the house.
- Religion and Spirituality: I listened in on a good conversation about religion and spirituality this week. More important than any of the actual content in the conversation, was the fact that so many of the people that were talking are struggling with similar issues around faith. It makes me want to read and study more about Buddhism.
Number of the Week:
- 1: I got my first contract this week (and soon followed by my promise for a second). This is great news, and a validation that having my own company could work!
