A pretty good week, getting some good traction with my primary client. I had a meeting with another prospective client that made me think through my core value proposition further.
Words of the week:
- Intern: I’m managing an intern for my primary client, this is different than what I expected.
- Scale: The conversation with the prospective client made me clearly aware of my scale and my ability to take on either certain projects or certain clients.
- Pawn: This prospective client gave me a bad taste. I really got the sense that they’re trying to change the Founder’s mindset, but it’s not clear that it needs to happen. I’m nervous that they’ll put me in the middle, or use me as a pawn for their wrangling.
Number of the Week:
- 3: For my primary client, we’re focused on 3 locations. It’s funny how that number – 3 – always comes back.
