This was a truly bizarre week… I’m banging heads with one of the more senior people and it’s not pretty. It’s affecting my ability to deliver things on time. This week-end is “The Boat Race”, the equivalent of the Head of Charles in Boston. We’re going there to meet with some new friends that we recently met.
Words of the week:
- Complications: The simplest things sometimes feel like the hardest ones in this country. I am not sure if it’s a product of me getting used to the new culture, etc… But it’s proving to be a bear.
- Incoherent: I seem to get pulled into incoherent meetings with no clear sense of why I am needed there. I tend to go, just to be a good sport, but need to change/adjust that soon, otherwise, I’ll get pulled into too many directions.
- US: Quite interesting that I am now working on pilots to take me back to the US.
Number of the Week:
- 60: As in minutes, what I can safely say is my commute. That’s 2 hours a day… Not what I wanted.
