Week 30: Weeks keep on being super busy. There’s good balance of interesting work, and BAU work. There’s some nastiness that’s rearing it’s head.

Semantics: It really seems that it’s all about the word choices that we have. Using language carefully is so critical.

Broken Pipe: I made a small mistake yesterday which is going to kill my entire week-end… My personal servers were going through an update, and the pipe broke… As a result all the machines are hosed… This will take time to fix, I wonder if it’s a signal in any direction. Right now, it’s a signal that I should quit, but alas, I don’t quit.

Pomodoro: I have been experimenting with the Pomodoro technique for productivity. Seems to work in some cases, but interestingly enough, it works better when I don’t use the apps that are designed to help (irony?). I am finding that I am more productive in general.
