Wow, what an amazing week! Our prototype is ready to go (well almost) and we got great feedback from our first potential client.
Words of the week:
- Cadence: We need to move towards a regular cadence of delivery. I am not thinking something that happens to fast, but something that happens on a reasonable schedule to show progress.
- Team: Getting the right team is so critical. We’ve had an ex-colleague of mine join us for a little, and his investment has really boosted our energy level. We’re making some good progress thanks to him.
- Taxonomies: I’m working on an interesting project with taxonomies for a client, and we’re discovering that we’ll have to create our own. What I’m finding interesting with taxonomies is how complex they can get, but also how poorly people understand them.
Number of the Week:
- 3 weeks: Having 3 week deadlines seems to get the right level of energy for folks, and gets them to step up..
