This was a short week, with lots of progress on the work front, but very frustrating on the dog/family front.
Words of the week:
- Field Visits: We had field visits for a project and it was good to see space in real life and see how they can be shaped. It brings another dimension to the work that we’ve been doing. My client and I are not in full agreement on what to do, but at least I’m able to provide feedback.
- Not Just Data: I had an interesting situation this week with field visits. Basically it brought up the fact that, again, it’s not just about data, but that there are a number of softer things to consider when making a decision: People’s emotional reaction, How approaches are perceived, and design elements are some of the few that I can think of.
- Balance: I’m finding balancing the dog and personal life quite difficult. It’s not bad, I just need to find the right cadence.
Number of the Week:
- 3: It’s funny how this number comes back over and over and over. It’s really a magical number in business and in life.
