Status Quo and Uncertainty… I guess those would describe the week. It’s been a rather “meh” week this week. I’m still working through some recovery from my massive hard drive meltdown, and am not able to get through everything. I’m getting the year end guilt, though this year feels a bit better given that I am planning on staying around home with my family and not travel to my parents.
Words of the week:
- Give & Take: I feel that I’ve been giving a lot, and not taking that much. It’s becoming frustrating.
- Priorities: I’m starting to rethink a lot. It’s a good thing to do from time to time, and it’s helping me regain perspective. It makes me wonder if there’s something I could with my process to re-assess priorities.
- Purpose: This seems the be the great question. I had a catch up with a ex-colleague recently and we talked through purpose and happiness in work and in life. It got me thinking about it some more. Funny how every year end I get very introspective.
Number of the Week:
- 50-50: How I seem to be splitting my time between various activities/various clients.
