Well it’s a short week here in the US. Still a lot of questions for me to figure out, and very few answers. The week was capped off with issues with my car and a trip to the local maintenance shop (not dealership).
Words of the week:
- Family: Givent that it’s Thanksgiving, I got to spend time with my wife’s family. Always a relaxing time, especially because it feels like everyone is chasing the kids. This time, however it was not so relaxing due to my having sprung an oil leak, that had it in the garage for the majority of the day Friday.
- Car: Well my MINI is starting to get to the end of its life. This is the second time this year that I will have to spend in excess $1000 to fix the car. This is not a good sign.
- Running: As we do every year, we had a 5K for Thanksgiving, and I didn’t do that great. Nothing surprising given that I have not really run in a while.
Number of the Week:
- 1000: It feels like whenever I have some car bill to pay it’s a either $1,000 or $2,0000. Always seems to land right there… Feels oddly strange to me.
