Well this was a relatively interesting week. Lots of motion on my primary client, but what seems to have started well, ended up on sour/rough note. I am also starting dialog with a couple of companies to explore the possibilities to join them.
Words of the week:
- Trust: I have put a lot of trust in my primary client, and I’m now discovering that I may have put too much trust in him. He is doing things that I don’t support, including letting our working engagement continue on its course. This is very advantageous to him, but not to me, and the longer it stays as is, the more the balance goes in his favor.
- Heart worm: Our dog was diagnosed with heart worms last week. We knew there was chance that this could happen, but were shocked when it did. The good news is that there are known cases of false-positives, and luckily the second test came out negative which means that she is heart worm free!
- Experience: The conversation I’m having with my primary client is to help shape the customer experience for his company. This is a pretty big deal as the service model is designed to be distinctive from other options, and thus needs to be outstanding. I like the idea of helping him with this, but… I need to have the trust that he sees me as a partner not just a lowly employee.
Number of the Week:
- 2: The number of tests we had to conduct to get final diagnose of no heart worms.
