Well I just started my trip to go visit my family and talk about the future. I have a number of meetings set up for next week, and look forward to those conversations. Some are going to develop as I’m there.
Words of the week:
- Schedule: I do like the idea of traveling back and forth to Europe on a regular basis. I used to do it a long time ago, and would like to start that again. I need to find the ideal schedule, and right now it looks like on Friday instead of Thursday is easier.
- Consulting: It is clearer and clearer that my focus needs to be on my consulting business and try to build that. I’d like to give myself 6 months to get to a place to be comfortable with it.
- Bandwidth: Both from the technical and non-technical stand point. Having sufficient bandwidth is so key to my business. Unfortunately my parent’s house is sort of limited.
Number of the Week:
- 6: I need to figure out this consulting business in the next 6 months. I have one good client, and need at least 2 more to feel in a good place.
